i just finished my backyard studio, which means one thing: new songs are on their way! i'm going to be writing this summer, and playing a lot of local gigs in San Diego and LA this fall! will post dates as they get closer. thanks to everyone for the support!

the winds of el nino are blowing north, and i will be riding them on a bird of steel.

this weekend, i'll be leading worship at lakeside church in folsom, CA, and i'm bringing with me great friend and poet/artist, Gill SOTU. gill was a member of the san diego slam team that went on to the semi-finals in the 2008 national poetry slam, and his debut album, elephant heart, was nominated for 5 mavric independent music awards. he's legit. but don't take my word for it. here's what HBO Def Jam Poet Paul Mabon had to say: "His music and words make you stop whatever you're doing and listen to something beautiful."

if you're in the sacramento area this weekend, stop by lakeside church on saturday night at 4:30 or 6:30pm, or sunday morning at 9:00 or 10:45am. you won't regret it!

this week i'll be hopping on the 5 and heading north to saddleback church in lake forest, ca, for the saddleback worship conference. one of my worship songs, "the one," was selected to be on the 2009 songseeker project that will be distributed to everyone attending the conference! looking forward to the conference, and hoping people enjoy my music.
